Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio is an American actor and film producer. As an actor, he has been nominated for the Golden Globe Award eight times and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his performance in The Aviator (2004). He has also been nominated by the Academy Awards, Screen Actors Guild and the British
Academy of Film and Television Arts.
Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the best actors of his generation. Since he was very young, DiCaprio caught our attention with his role in "This Boy's Life" starring next to the great Robert DeNiro. After that with his role in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" playing a mentally disabled boy along Johnny Depp, DiCaprio was praised by critics recieving an Academy Award Nomination for best supporting actor. DiCaprio became widely known with his role in the movie "Titanic". This movie was a huge succes and now DiCaprio was a star. After Titanic he participated in big prject recieving several Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations. He still has not won any, but he is still young and I believe he will achieve it in the near future.
